Packs and quotation options
A kit, a refill or laboratory testing
Strips provide a quick colour comparison. Comparator kits use compatible reagents and a colour scale for the stated test. Laboratory testing is a separate service, arranged through a HOKLAS-accredited laboratory where applicable; a retail kit is not a laboratory report or certification.
Match the reagent to the test equipment
DPD No. 1 is commonly used for free chlorine and phenol red for pH, but the reagent format must suit the kit or instrument. Supply the model and existing reagent code. Do not assume that two products with similar names are interchangeable.
Plan replenishment and keep records
Choose quantities against testing frequency and the supplied expiry information. Follow the kit’s storage, sampling and reading instructions. A licensed pool should follow its current licence and operating requirements for testing and records; ask separately if a laboratory report is required.
Questions before buying
Do I need a complete kit or replacement reagents?
If you already have a kit, send its model and the reagent name or code. We can then confirm a compatible refill option. If you need a new kit, list the parameters you must test.
Can I use any DPD tablet in my instrument?
No. Confirm the exact reagent format and code against the equipment instructions. Comparator and instrument methods may require different products even when both test chlorine.
Are laboratory reports included with a test kit?
No. A kit or reagent quotation covers the requested supplies. Laboratory sampling, analysis and reporting are a separate enquiry and scope; identify the required test and purpose.
What pack and expiry information will be confirmed?
Ask for the supplied pack count, compatible reagent code and applicable expiry information when requesting a quotation. Order against expected use; the supplied pack size is confirmed by quotation.
